What better way to end one year and begin another by taking a trip overseas with good friends, making new friends and getting caught up in the spirit of the holildays. We travelled through Spain and then on to Paris, France.....
Our first destination: Madrid, Spain.
Here we are at the airport in a bar getting the trip started of the right way. A little alcohol can be helpful in getting you to sleep for that dreaded plane ride.%
Beautiful Madrid. I believe this was near Santa Anna. It happened to be right outside the bar where Mary caught the attention of some locals at a cafe celebrating the holidays.
Of course, we had to join these fellas in the Cafe Principe and participate in the festivities. Chris was able to get them to quote Triumph, the insult comic dog puppet: "For me to poop on!"
- Pros:Friendly people, great fashion, good food and wine
- Cons:Driving
- In a nutshell:I'll be back! My favorite of all the cities we visited in Spain.

Great start on Madrid, Stace! Any pics of Mary's "window dance?" ;-) So was the pigeon at ENE as juicy and succulent as Chris' *cheeks* in Paris? Haha! Madrid is definitely worth a return visit!
