The popular beach resort of Waterville is a triangle of pubs, restaurants, and shops on a narrow bit of land between Ballinskelligs Bay and Lough Currane. Charlie Chaplin was probably the town's most famous visitor and there's an uncannily lifelike statue of him in his tramp's garb on the footpath above the beach.
Gotta love that.
Aside from that little tidbit, I have to say that it was a nice place to pull over and enjoy the view. |
