  • Embassy Suites on paradise road is really nice. Its nothing fancy and doesnt have all the glitz and glamour of all the strip hotels. But if you are just looking for a nice place to stay then this is your spot. All the rooms here are suites, hence the name... All embassy suites seem the same to me, ive stayed at a few. The reason i stayed at this embassy suite, it was New Years and everywhere else was pretty much booked. If you go to Las Vegas then id recommend staying on the strip, but if nothing else you can stay here.

  • Buffalo Bill's is not really yet in las Vegas. It is located in Primm which is the stateline between California and Nevada. It is about 30 mins or 40 miles from LV. Its a nice little spot to stop by before heading home to LA. Its not the best hotel and casino but it will do. The rooms are average, typical hotel room. The service is excellent. They have a rollercoaster here which is pretty good. The first drop is the best. They also have a tram which connects to Primm hotel and casino and here there is also a shopping outlet.

  • This is a really nice hotel. The rooms are very clean and a good size too. This was my second time staying here. I would say the beds are probably the most comfortable ive ever slept in. The casino is really nice, its pretty wide open, which give you alot of space to play in, so youre not all cramped up. They also have a wide range of minimum's to choose from. If budget is not a factor, then you shouold try staying here. Or if you want to try and get comped, id say go for it, you would probably need an avg bet of $175 while sitting for about 6 hours. The only thing i dont like about Bellagio is the cafe and the buffet. The cafe has the worst service ever and the Buffet is not worth $40. It has a big variety but the quality is not so good.

Unique Qualities: The best thing about Bellagio is the water show out front. This thing is great. i would definitely recommend watching this to any first time visitors.

  • This is an OK hotel. Its nothing too special. The casino is ok also, not too big. I cant really say too much about this place. Ive stayed here a few times. Its overall an average place. The rooms are clean and nice, avg in size, weird colors though. The restaurants are OK, the piano bar is pretty cool. I ate at Il Fornaio for dinner here, the only thing i really liked is the tiramisu, now that was good.

  • I came back to Vegas this past Labor Day 2008 and this time i stayed at Red Rock for the first 2 nights. This Hotel is located near Summerlin, which is a very nice area. I believe its northwest and about 20 minutes from the strip. To take a cab here from the strip costs about $45.00. i took it from the Venetian. I really like it here, although its off the strip, its as nice as some that are on the strip. Casino is nice and doesn't get too crowded. The pool is huge and very chill. The rooms are great too. It has a few restaurants, ive only eaten at one, Salt Lick BBQ and that was just nasty, totally do not recommend that place to anyone. Its in a really nice area, with plenty of restaurants shops etc.. Overall a great place to stay, when you want to go to Vegas, party, gamble and do whatever it is you do in Vegas, without all the craziness....

  • I stayed at the Palazzo on the 2nd half of my Labor Day weekend. It was my first time staying here and i really like. The rooms are fabulous!! They are all suites and i stayed in the smaller ones, but it was perfect. There are 3 flat screens in the room 1 where the beds are, 1 in the living room area and 1 in the bathroom. The beds are very comfy and the curtains and blinds are all remote controlled. See pics below. I didn't actually gamble here or do much inside the hotel other than just kick it in the room when i didn't feel like going out. I didnt get to see too much of anything else. I did eat at the Grand Lux Cafe, which is basically a cheescake factory, so it was regular. Ill probably gamble here next time so i can try and get comps. This place is in a good location, self parking is easy to get to and find and parking elevators to the casino floor are right next to the elevators to the rooms... I love this place!
