The worlds most famous bicycle competition takes place in France in the month of July. Does the name Lance Armstrong ring a bell ? Le Tour ends in Paris in front of hundreds of thousands of people gathered at the Champs Elysees. Despite the fact that it is difficult to obtain a decent view of the riders (they pass with an incredible speed) the atmosphere is all worthwhile.

One fun thing to do when being in a foreign country is to watch people in order to get a sense of the way they dress, act and look like. By walking around in Paris or just sit in front of a café you will get a glimpse of everyday life in this city.

Imposing arch in the middle of Paris on the top of the Champs Elysees street. It took 30 years to finish the construction of this massive architectual building. It was built to commemorate the victories of Napoleon. From the top of the arch you have a great view of the city. One can also enjoy the cars beneath struggling to get through one of the worlds most chaotic roundabouts.

Not a lot to say about this 320 meters tall monument that isn't said. THE symbol of Paris and France. The Eiffel Tower can be seen from all parts of Paris and is breath-taking everytime I stand under it or I'm on top of it. Offers a spectacular view of Paris. Personnally I prefer it during night time.

One of my favorite sights in Paris. Nice catholic church situated in the heart of the city. It tokk 200 years to build this masterpiece of a gothic church. Take the stairs to the roof and you will have one of the best views of Paris. A classic attraction.
