I had quite a comfortable stay in this hotel, the staff were quite friendly and were most willing to help with any request. The only thing is that the reception for the television programmes were quite bad..but I didn't bother asking for help from the staff because most of the programmes were in Thai. :P A bit troublesome was the key which was still the conventional key(attached to a big piece of metal bearing the room number) instead of a magnetic strip card. Overall, I would still definitely recommend to people who are looking for a hotel with a good location, fairly comfortable and not too expensive. ^_^
Unique Qualities: good location just opposite the start of the night bazaar.

It was quite an okay stay compared to other places I have stayed at. If you're going to be out doing stuff for most of the day, then I guess US$6 is good for those travelling on a tight budget. Since the room does not have air-conditioning, it would be seriously too hot to stay in from late morning till evening. Also, nothing is provided, no towels, toiletries and only a blanket and pillow and a few hangers are provided. No internet service either.
