Ghost town

Anyone who gets a chance to come through Arizona shouldn't miss Jerome. It's a little town right in the middle of everything, yet not many know where it is. If you make the trip to Sedona, just follow 89A south, and follow the signs. It's a short way off the beaten track, but well worth the detour.
Arizona is full of decrepit mining ghost towns, but Jerome is an exception. There's plenty to do, and see in the hillside town. It also boasts some of the best views in the state, overlooking the Red Rocks of Sedona, the San Francisco Peaks and Flagstaff, and Camp Verde.
