Haven't actually stayed there, but the location is great, right downtown Flag. They have two good bars on site as well. Charly's, downstairs, usually has good live music; Zane Grey, upstairs, is a nice relaxing place to have a drink.

Unique Qualities: Friends that work there have told me that the building is haunted. There are stories about a lot of the old buildings being haunted, it was the "wild west" after all.
The story goes...A couple was staying at the hotel on their wedding night and ended up getting shot in their room. For years the hotel kept the room in operation, and occassionally they would have people check out in the middle of the night because they said that they woke up and there were two people sitting at the foot of their bed. Everyone had the same story, and it kept happening. So the hotel turned the room into their liquor closet. No one that I know has seen anything since, but they all swear that they get weird vibes in the liquor room, and no one will go there by themselves.

Little America is a really nice, somewhat vintage-style, classic hotel nestled in a beautiful wooded area with manicured grounds. It's not your run-of-the mill modern cookie cutter hotel by any means. This is the place where Flagstaffians have their high school proms, college formals, weddings, etc.
They have amazing buffet-style brunches everyday, and extra special ones on Sundays and Holidays.
Rooms have beautiful old wood furnishings. Very classy place.
