Restaurant Name: Ohri's Cuisine Court

If youre undecided about what you want to eat or want to sample a variety of different types of food, this is where you should be headed. It has live music at times. It consists of the
1.'silver metro' - which is designed like a subway train, very cute. I really like the steak (fish is my favourite), biryani, and the different kebabs.
2.'Havmor' - famous for its generous sundaes (has one called the 'Lewinsky'), and the chola batura.
3.'Gufaa'
4.'Ming's Court' - Serves mainly chinese food. Its less crowded, and as a result, very relaxing when compared to the other restaurants here. Really good for a quiet dinner.

Restaurant Name: Southern Spice

This is my one of my favourites for hot and really spicy food. It does an excellent job of
serving authentic andhra food. The place is usually very crowded, and You may have to wait for a table, but once inside, the service is really fast and efficient. Try the 'thali'(an
indian version of the 'all you can eat' meal), chicken chettinad, the fish fry, or the zeera
rice. You dont have to be selective here, almost everything on the menu is really good.

Restaurant Name: Mainland China

Hyderabadis love their chinese food. It is available almost at every restaurant (youll
notice 'Indianised', spicy versions of most food). Mainland China is one that serves the
most authentic. The decor is really pleasant, and the food is amazing.
Try the dimsum, prawns in butter garlic sauce, cantonese noodles, pomfret, or the lobster.

Restaurant Name: Our Place

Our place is an open air themed restaurant tucked away in a corner of Banjara Hills. It is
very romantic especially in the evenings with adorable little ducks paddling around the
lawn, it has a bar, features live music, and has an art gallery which showcases local
artists. The menu is quite extensive, and as with most restaurants in hyderabad, it has
delicious chinese food. The chicken 65 served here is one of my favourites. I would
personally go there for the lovely ambience, although the food is delicious as well.
It is a little out of the way, but has signs pointing the direction, so should not be hard to find.

Restaurant Name: Arabian Nights/4 Seasons

These are 2 of the many restaurants situated in a 'food complex' of sorts. They serve mainly arabic or middle eastern food, and are quite authentic in terms of taste. The 4 seasons is really good for lebanese food, and like most restaurants in Hyderabad, offer the option of a takeaway, dine in, or, if you choose, be served by your own personal waiter while you eat in your car. The mixed platters, and humous are especially good.

Restaurant Name: The waterside Cafe

The Waterside cafe offers a welcome break from the extremely busy road no.1 on Banjara hills. The cafe offers a relaxed dining experience while overlooking a man made lake. The lunch buffet has proven to be very popular, as it offers an extensive range of delicious dishes, at extremely competetive prices. The grilled fish, Butter chicken, and chocolate mousse are especially good. I would personally recommend stepping in for breakfast, the menu isnt extra special, but starting the day overlooking a serene lake is a good experience.

Restaurant Name: Tex Mex

Tex mex is a cute little restaurant situated in Banjara Hills, opposite the KBR park.
The decor is a good attempt at recreating a mexican feel, featuring mexican hats, cacti, and rustic furniture. The menu features classic mexican fare prepared to suit indian tastebuds. As with most hyderabadi restaurants, the portions are very generous. You can choose from fajitas, tacos, burritos, apple pies, and cheescakes. The mixed platter (tacos, enchiladas, and burritos) would be a good idea if you are undecided about what to eat.
