"Beautiful Ireland" Ireland by fishandchips

Ireland is a wonderful place to travel around. I spent a fantastic few days travelling about this country in 1999 following this itinerary;

Day 1: South Wales to Roslare - Picked up Hertz Car at Ferry Terminal and drove to Blarney via Waterford (stopped to get a bit of crystal) and Cork. Night in Blarney.

Day 2: Kissed the Blarney Stone, spent a bit more time on Cork then drove to Kilarney.

Day 3: Ring of Kerry Drive - fantastic then off to spend the night just out of Limeric

Day 4: Limeric to Galway. Night in Galway

Day 5: Drive around today going as far north at Westport then driving down to Clochan via Rosscommon. Big night at Flynn's in Banagher.

Day 6: Drive southward stopping for a pint in Kilkenny, a look at the Rock of Cashel and then to Bray (just South of Dublin).

day 7: Dublin day

Day 8: Drive to Ferry terminal and off to Isle of Anglesea.

Travel is always about the people you meet. The Irish were generally fantastic with the only exception being the odd B&B owner near Dublin. Our Irish adventure saw us meet some wonderful people who we discussed many things with over a Guiness or three.
