Town of Many Aspects | Vienna - Monuments, Churches and Palaces.... |
Vienna is one of my favourite places to visit. There is an abundance of good coffee places, lots of yummy chocolate (from over the border....) and some fantastic buildings including St Stephens and a couple of palaces. This place was shaped in a big way by the Habsburg empire finally removed through World War 1 after which the Austro-Hungarian empire was split up in a port war map room. |
| | Music Music Music Like Salzburg, Vienna sings to the tune of Mozart. In addition there is also a few tributes to J Strauss. A trip to this part of the world is not complete without a visit to the Opera. I was fortunate enough to go to a performance at the Schonbrun Palace in the Orangery where Ballet and Classical music were the themes. An excellent night including a bit of bubbly..... |
