Mid point

Murchison is a handy mid-point stop when travelling between Nelson and the West Coast. It is located between two rivers, including the regions main river, the Buller, plus lots of hills. This makes the setting for Murchison very nice.

The township is quite small and has, amongst other things, a nice 9 hole golf course.
