"My first foray North of the Border" Vancouver by PinkFloydActuary
Vancouver Travel Guide: 3,951 reviews and 8,217 photos
The 2003 spring meeting for the Society of Actuaries was held in Vancouver. The wife and I spent a little extra time up there, and while we didn't get to explore the entire city, we did roam around and check out a number of the sights.
- Pros:Friendly city, lots to see within walking distance
- Cons:Accosted several times by beggars
- In a nutshell:Good food, lots of natural and man-made beauty

I loved the location, the comfortable west coast vibe here, beautiful setting:) nicely described.
If you are an actuary, can I give you my premiums, my payouts and from that, calculate when I will die?
