Impressive waterfall

Swallow Falls State Park is actually home to four different waterfalls. Three of these (including those from which the park gets it's name), are small waterfalls that pale in comparison to the highlight of the park, Muddy Creek Falls, a 60-foot, rushing waterfall. There is a trail that winds past all of the falls that is fairly easy, and meanders along the water in a quiet wooded area. You can see all of the falls in under an hour, so it's worth the side trip off the main roads of western Maryland.
