Location: Declo, Idaho MARSH CREEK | MARSH CREEK IN THE DISTANCE |
Years ago, Marsh Creek was a larger expansion of water... The Pioneers from the "Oregon Trail" had to travel close by it in Wagon Trains. Not much is left of "Marsh Creek," except for a body or large "pond" of water from run-off of the "South Hills" located just outside of the small rural Town of Declo, Idaho. Marsh Creek now serves as a private Wildlife & Bird Refuge (located on Private Land) for many of the Wildlife habitat in the area. Marsh Creek generally "dries up" during the hot Summer months. |
