Jersualem - City of Religions Jerusalem is probably one of the most religion-driven cities on earth. The three monotheist religions have (some of) their holiest places here: be it the Kotel/Western Wall, the Haram as-Sharif with the Dome of the Rock and the more important Al Aqsa Mosque or the Christian Church of Holy Sepulchre. That makes the city interesting but also difficult. |

tex805 Sat Jun 21, 2008 01:41 UTC The location is ideal - 5 minutes' walk from the Old City. Food is excellent, and hand-thrown pizza cooked in an olive-wood fired oven. April 2008, the single room rate was 70 shekels a night, but it went up due to the Greek Orthodox holiday season. | beebrazil Sun Mar 16, 2008 22:43 UTC Hiiiii I never could imagine something like that , a gay parade in Jerusalém, wow, send more pics, hehehe just kidding, it´s ok they are in all of cities, why not in Jerusalém? Regards from Brazil. | aaaarrgh Sat Aug 20, 2005 21:25 UTC Fascinating insights. Good work!! | gilabrand Wed Aug 17, 2005 10:41 UTC An Arafat altar? LOL |
