Cycling around the Great Wall It was almost the end of winter and we decided to take this chance to visit the Great Wall while it's still nice and cool. The view is supposedly amazing when it snows, but we missed the snow twice last month.
Amazing how good it felt to be out of the city. The air is more fresh and it's always nice to chill in nature. |
|  | Within an hour drive, soft outline of mountains start formatting in the horizons. It looks like layers overlapping one another. Finally we were there, at the bottom of the climb with hundreds of steep dirt path leading up to the wall entrance. It wasn't really an "entrance" - I supposed the locals dig a hole to get through the wall. |
| | It was quite an amazing view with overlapping outline of mountains to the left. A frozen water reservoir to your right and a rather interesting looking mountain peak at the background. The wall seems to continue to eternity. |

Thanks for the info, Dhita! Ya, shopping in Beijing lumayan murah. Mestinya ada tmpt2 yg lebih seru lagi utk didatangi. Sayangnya aku tdk ada waktu banyak. hopefully next year will shop in Shanghai:-) BTW, you have nice pics of Beijing. |
