While you are in the area why not take a detour and head up the hill to see the cidre orchards?

I had been enjoying myself and spent far too much time in Monet’s Garden so I did not get the chance to check them out.

The photo shows one of the many signs that marks the route and distance to the orchards, which I am told produces some of the best cidre bouché around.

Mmmmmm I brought a bottle home and it still sits in my fridge. I know I should drink it. I want to drink it. But as soon as I open it and drink it... I no longer have a bottle of cidre bouché to enjoy, brought all the way from France!
Oh the dilemma!

Foundation Has Never Smelled So Good. Foundation Claude Monet Review

A visit to The Foundation of Claude Monet is a treat for impressionist fans.
The home has been restored beautifully containing photos of the man himself, walls painted as vibrantly as his garden and copious Japanese prints that Monsieur Monet was so fond of.

The water garden is breathtaking. I love that Monet's neighbours thought him mad when the
pond was first dug.
My mid/late May visit allowed for many colours.
