Visiting this small town and Monet's Gardens was definitely one of the highlights of my trip! Yes it was a bit crowded, but I imagine it only gets worse as the summer months roll in, the bike ride from the train station in Vernon was lovely and very peaceful after Paris, if you are and impressionist fan, this side trip is worth it! |

Currently doing some research on the careful landscaping shown in this garden. Monet may have been the first artist to manipulate his subject on all levels. He carefully planted this garden, creating art before even picking up a brush. |  | |
