NOODLE (Pho) under 2$: There are 2 wonderful tastes of Pho in Hanoi ya should try as Pho Bo (noodle soup with Beef) & Pho Ga (with Chicken). My fav places are: 49 Bat Dan St, 2 Ly Quoc Su St & 44 Ngo Thi Nham St.
GRILLED CHOPPED FISH (Cha Ca) under 10$: This taste of fish is very creasy, sweet & fresh. It goes with a special shrimp sauce & vermicelli. The most famous restaurants are at 14 Cha Ca St & 107 Nguyen Truong To St. I prefer the second one coz this restaurant is larger & they have Car Park.
VERMICELLI & SOUR CRAB SOUP (Bun Rieu) under 1$:1 Thi Sach St, Phan Boi Chau St. It has a very characteristic taste of crab, fish sauce & chilly.
CRISP SHRIMP PASTRY (Banh Tom) 10$: The welknown restaurant located in the West Lake so its called West Lake Crisp Shrimp Pastry. Thanh Nien St suggested.
VERMICELLI & GRILLED CHOPPED MEAT (Bun Cha) under 1$: Thats smt very interesting 2 enjoy ze food in ze meat-favoured smoke around:) The idea place is 32 Le Van Huu St.
STEAMED ROLLED RICE PANCAKE or RAVIOLI (Banh Cuon) under 2$: Its very delicious to eat with a drop of belostomatid oil (Ca Cuong), the smell is strong & unforgetable. 17 Cha Ca St; Hang Chieu St.
VERMICELLI & SHELLFISH SOUP (Bun Oc) under 1$:Wow.. very spicy :) I like the restaurant at Mai Hac De St, crowded everytime.
DOG MEAT (Thit Cho) over 5$:This is not a traditional food but if ya not scared, lets try once ;) There are many restaurant of Thit Cho along Nhat Tan area, Yen Phu Dyke near the West Lake. Honestly, I definitely don't like this food :(
This is not Food, this is a "MUST" : HANOI BEER (Bia hoi Ha noi) under 1$/glass: The good way is 2 enjoy Bia Hoi in a popular restaurant on the pavement watching & feeling the bustle of ppl, vehicles... in the streets. You can find it everywhere!
