About myself Hi, I was born in Tehran, capital of Iran and spent most of my school years in it and in the States. Ive lived also in Shiraz for almost 10 years. Im married and have a daughter. Maybe not so good in socializing, I do like to share experience with others |
Visit Iran Each country has its own attractions and of course distractions. Iran is a country that at its current status could only attract tourists interested in sight seeing and ecotourism and cuisine. The problems with security and safety has always been exaggerated in my opinion. Ask tourists that have visited Iran before, Im almost certain that most of you might receive a reply different to what you might have expected. Of course I surely cant brag about the attractions of Iran since they are not receiving adequate care. At the same time, there is no nightlife or adventure here, so I could only recommend this country to those looking for such a different experience. |

Where to go One thing about Iran is that its attractions are almost spread throughout this broad country, that means it requires a lot of time and travel to cover them all. So do this only if you are craving to do so. As a local, I could recommend Isfahan, Yazd and Shiraz, in that order. Shiraz has less to see for a tourist (unless you are devoted to Iranian poetry..oh and also the Persepolis of course) but has more frequent domestic flights. On the other hand, Yazd is one of the cities located in the ancient silkroad path, and in the middle of the desert ( just like Las Vegas lol!) and gives you a better sense of the cultural heritage of the old days. |
