this is not my first time to see ancient Roman Theatre, since I have seen once before in Carthage(Tunisa). But this one is giving me with another feeling ....it drives me climb up to the top of theatre, higher you climb so you would see spectacualr view of downtown Amman. Left upper hill is Citadel, right handside is Hashmite Square.

There are 2 museums flanked upon Roman Theatre. Jordan Museum of Popular Traditions and Folklore Museum. We don't need to pay separate ticket as they are already included in the entrance fee JD1.00 of Roman Theatre. The things draw my attention most are those beautiful costumes with fine embroidery from various tribes and nearby regions.

We were late for the opening hour of Citadel. We implored the guard to let us in for glimpes. So we didn't have much time to ramble around and grabbed for photos . But the view of Amman neighborhood from Citadel looks surperb with mild sunlight, houses are sprawling on hills. It is interesting to see.... after our Saraya hotel patron showed me a photo of over 50 years ago where they were just barren hills and very few habitant. Afterwards we strolled back down on foot and stairways lead us to the main street again. Temple of Hercules > Lookout > National Archeological Museum > Umayyad Palace

Entrance fee : JD5.00 seperate ticket for daily Gladiator show at Hippodrome Transportation : bus costs JD0.450 per person but we have been waiting on the bus nearly 1 hour in order to filling up with people and another 1 hour journey time . so we determined to take a taxi from Jerash all the way back to Amman - Citadel, it reasonably costed us JD9.00.
