Berlin is a great city! The capital of Germany and the maybe the European capital of modern history!

We arrived in Berlin late in the evening a Februar day in 2004! We drove straight to our hotel: The Park Inn at Alexanders Platz. The greatest city hotel in Berlin with over 1000 rooms in high quality.

In Berlin we visited many of the major spots of history: Brandeburger Tor, Checkpoint Charlie, The City Wall museum, Sony Centre headquarter and more. And of course shopping! KaDeWE is maybe the biggest shopping centre in Europe. And for a Boardgame fanatic, Berlin is excellent, with a lots of boardgames at cheap prices.

I can highly recommend Berlin as a place to do shopping and explore the history!

Berlin is maybe a little to big for only a few days And it's not the most beautiful city in Europe.
