Wohooo a place to visit to find all the branded (but not aoriginal) goods. it;s such an exprience watching some of the locals bargaining... gosh u need to have that skills to be shopping here... and u'll be amaze at the prices they'll offer ya... Dominated by Chinese old-timers and some say retired gang-leaders, Petaling Street offers an interesting contrast to the hustle and bustle of the modern KL life. You not only can get cheap goods, you can also savour some good food. Look out for Chinese medicinal shops that sell ginseng and all sort of traditional remedies for all sorts of ailments. Chinese tea-houses are also nice to rest in. If you're at Petaling Street at night, it's best to exercise caution over your valuables

Do u know that it use to be a WET market... But now its a must visit place for the tourist to get souviniers and also any other stuffs... periodically there are prformances demonstration around and also fortune telling (but my advise : think twice)... Many stores at Central Market sell clothing and other goods made from the colorful, traditional Malaysian batik - beautiful and, in most cases, hand-drawn and hand-printed fabrics. Riverside amphitheatre located outside of the building is the venue for regular performances of traditional and contemporary dances and musical concerts.
