Chia is one of the most famous beaches in Sardinia. It consists of a series of long and wide beaches of golden sand (such as Baia Chia, Su Giudeu, Perdalonga, Capo Spartivento, Cala Cipolla, Tuerredda etc) interrupted, in places, by rocks. Apart from the splendid sea, there are two other natural elements which characterise Chia: the dunes and the Flamingos. Whatever the weather conditions, the sea at Chia is crystal clear and the frequent winds favour surfing and kyte surfing. One can walk for miles along the sand and from the top of the cliffs, the panorama is breath-taking |
