Clifden Travel Guide: 37 reviews and 173 photos

Clifden is the largest town in the Connemara. There are a lot of shops here as well as several restaurants. No tour of western Ireland is complete without going through Clifden and then on to the Sky Road.

Picturesque tiny town. Had a pleasant few days stay, but my advise is to avoid GRIFFIN'S BAR. Had a bad experience with my family. Owner was awkward and incoherent. Very rude. I could have read Trip Advisor because Int'l Visitors suffered the same, otherwise it's a nice spot for family holiday.

It looks beautiful in Connemara NP and along the Sky Road!
