| Beethovenhaus is one of the main attractions. |
I was there during the Christmas 2008, at the end of December. After almost c comfortable and 1 hour trip by tram, I found this place snowy and freezing.
There is a special line (regional tram) for Baden from at the front of Vienna's Opera House. Departure is almost every 15 minutes. And the price is 5.10 Euro for one way. Also you can find a return tram till the midnight. You can buy your ticket there at the office.
Just cross the street there you will see the station at the main Ring street . There you can find some thermal pools and complexes, a rose garden, small main square with some shops and of course houses with classical style everywhere. |

| | Baden is very small. You can make a daily trip for several hours. I'm sure it would be better in the summer time. When you get off the tram at Baden Josefplatz, just walk straight and there you will see a small market place at left. Also tourist information office is just next to this market. People working at the office are so helpful. Take a map for you and walk around the town. |

| | Baden is a health resort actually. Their thermal waters are good for people who have rheumatic diseases. And there is nothing so much to see as much as in Vienna of course. Almost 30.000 inhabitants live there and it's just 26 km far away from Vienna city center. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place this is the right one. |
