Spent three nights there. Prices are normal for this kind of facility - about 2,5-3 euro per night.
Manager (named Osama .o) speaks very good English and French. Unfortunately the rest of staff (one exception) speak only Arabic.
Hostel is clean, no problems with water occured.
I met people from France, Austria, Canada and Germany there - seems to be very popular among backpackers.

Close to Zahert are some very good and cheap restaurants. I recomend Khan Al Khalil, it's manager Ahmed is a great guy - a devout muslim looking for improvement of his English by conversation with guests (big dinner max 3 euro), spent great evenings talking to him and his friends.
