Dragør-the Sea Captains´ Village

It was my life's longest walk so far. I decided to go on foot to Dragør from the student dormitories I stayed then. I started my journey at 10:00 in the morning and said to my friends that I will be back at 18:00. One of the most unusual experiences on my way to Dragør was the sound of the hay on the field. When travelling by car or any other vehicle we lose the nature sounds which you can hear while walking on foot. So, it took me some time to find out that the hissing sound was actually coming from the fields I was passing. That was the first time I heard the hay singing! Besides the singing hay Dragør is famous for Dragør gæs (Dragør's geese). After having strolled along its tiny and idyllic streets I started my journey homeward. And believe me or not I was at home exactly at 18:00 after having walked about 25 km on foot!
