WE just returned from our South American trip and had a wonderful time...Easter Island was the highlight for sure...But so was Iguazu Falls...Buenos Aires was a great city as was Santiago...We also visited Puerto Varas in Chile and Bariloche in Argentina....Next time we return to South America, would love to see Rio de Janeiro!!

We travelled to the above to celebrate my husbands's 50th birthday...It was our 12th time to Amsterdam, 3rd time to Goa and second time to Varanasi!!

In Amsterdam, we saw the Tragically Hip, a Canadian rock band...From there we flew to Goa where we visited friend's and celebrated Greg's birthday...We then flew to Varanasi and spent 4 nights at Palace on River....with a Ganges view and took in the amazing atmosphere...

It was a fun trip and a great 50th birthday present!!

This trip was awesome...we started out in Goa for a few weeks and had some much needed
r & r....From there, we flew via Hong Kong to Ho Chi Minh City....and also visited Hoi Ann, Hue, Hanoi and Halong Bay....Then on to Hong Kong where we shopped til we dropped!!

Well, our next trip was to Peru, where we visited the spiritual centre of the Incas, the "Lost City" of Machu Picchu..We also visited Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes..

We spent almost 27 days on the above trip and had an awesome time..The most exciting thing we did had to have been celebrating Holi in Goa!! Seeing Angkor Wat and the other temples was another highlight and seeing how much Bangkok changed in the last 12 years was amazing..
