Honningsvag in February is quiet and picturesque, surrounded by the icy arctic ocean and snow covered hills. It's a great place to stay before or after a trip to Northcape, just don't expect wild nightlife, fancy restaurants or a tourist information office that's open at the weekends!
It may not be typical - but the weather I met in Honningsvag was very lively - for 24 hours it was clear (sunny in the day) for 10-15 minutes then it would snow and blow a gale for 10-15 minutes... the picture of the historic church was taken as one of the snowy/windly spells approached. With the wind chill it was about -35 deg C!
