Local noodle dish This is one of my favourite local dish that can be found almost anywhere. This one in the picture is from Newton hawker centre. However, the best hokkien mee still comes from Serangoon Chomp Chomp hawker centre. The hokkien mee there is the best and often takes half an hour to arrive during busy periods. |

I was there two weeks ago, it was a great dish. I was there for two days, and had the stingray on both days. I now miss it and wished I could find in back in Los Angeles. The price went up to $10, $12 and $15. I can't wait to get back there in July. | trav4bus Tue Apr 3, 2007 11:33 UTC

I admit it is indeed touristy but since I was among 3 locals in a group of 4 when I went to Newton Circus I had exactly that. The stingray. And wow was it good. Great advice here. |
