Tehran, with its teeming millions, fabulous museums and atrocious traffic, will probably be your first taste of the country.
Beautiful Esfahan,
Shiraz - city of poets and gardens,
and Persepolis will almost certainly call you too.
These places are worth the journey alone, but there is so much more to this fascinating country. I hope this page will give you a hint of what the country has to offer, and perhaps a desire to go and discover its wonders for yourself.

- Pros:Wonderful cities, beautiful buildings, bewildering bazaars, hospitable hosts

You are so lucky to have visited Iran! Your descriptions and fact-filled pages are a real treat. The foods, the flavors, the dress code, the rugs...all of it was so wonderful.
Enjoyable page about Iran. I liked how you describe the different food dishes and what each symbolizes.
Iran is exciting of course and your page is appetizing! That is a dream travel...
Your page is a real feast for the eyes, with so many interesting customs, foods, clothes and what not. Wish I could visit the country someday.
Fascinating background on a different society, with such a long history. I enjoyed the excellent shopping trips too, but would drinking coffee instead of tea still suffice when buying carpets? :))
Ahhh, you make me dream of Iran, too now :-)) Mrs Leyle indeed has placed the virus into me :-)) I think about a language course in one of the bigger cities - and some travelling of course :-))
Iran is very high on my list of countries I want to visit. Hopefully I'll be able to get there someday.
Fascinating and helpful tips on a land I would dearly love to see.
