The Musee d'Arc sells a variety of large tapestries, and smaller items made from tapestry material. They tend to depict medieval scenes or are in traditional French colours. The entry to the museum is E$5,00. Am not sure whether they will let you in to the tapestry room without charging you.

Ever been to Dubrovnik, in Croatia? It is very impressive also and in a more medieval way. Carcassonne is kinda too holywoodish... but nonentheless an excellently preserved city, as it is Mdina from Malta for example. | ettenaj Wed Apr 11, 2007 16:53 UTC
