Affordable, clean and unbeatable location and other Carcassonne, France Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

Room had 8 beds, 2 basins, mirror, shower and hangers for towels, clothes etc. Toilets were just down the hall, along with additional showers. Entire hostel was very clean. 1 internet station. Meals available in hostel (only tried free breakfast - not my cup of tea, but you could live off it). Noisy at night due to people congregating in garden. But, after walking around all day I had no trouble falling asleep despite noise. There is a lockout each day, during which time you cannot access your room.

If you are not a Youth Hostel member you will not be turned away. But, will be required to pay a non-member surcharge per night. For members it is E$ 15.80 . I booked through www.hihostels.com with no problems.

Unique Qualities: The only reasonably priced accommodation I found in the old city itself. Cheap, convenient, clean.
