Amici's Italian Restaurant: Amazing variety, lively atmosphere
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Amici's Italian Restaurant

    Lively atmosphere, family friendly. Seating available inside or outside. Reserve a table if possible, as it's very popular with locals. Wide variety of dishes available including entrees, desserts, Italian pasta and pizza, seafood (crumbed fish, calamari etc), steaks, veal, chicken and more. Wine is relatively cheap.

    Favorite Dish: Have a lot of trouble deciding, so the group I'm with often shares their dishes.

    Fez Bah: Superb Turkish Great Atmosphere
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Fez Bah

    Small Turkish restaurant with fantastic food, great atmosphere & excellent service.

    Located in a trendy section of Teneriffe.

    A couple of small tables inside, with the bulk of the tables outside, but under cover.

    Favorite Dish: My favourite dish is one of the Turkish Pizzas - the one with the lamb and yoghurt sauce.

    The red wine complemented the meal beautifully, but was more expensive than you would expect in a Brisbane restaurant.

    Bali Grill Restaurant: Scrumptious Asian
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Bali Grill Restaurant

    The Bali Grill always presents its food very well. It offers a wide variety of South East Asian dishes.

    There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. As it is quite popular with locals, I would definitely recommend booking in advance.

    A la carte menu. Fully licensed (offers a large range of Australian and New Zealand wines), and BYO bottled wine only (corkage is A$3).

    Open Monday - Saturday, 5:30pm till late (closed Public Holidays + Sundays). Is available Sundays for group bookings.

    Wheelchair access is provided.

    Favorite Dish: Any of the seafood dishes.

    Peppe's Mexican: Cosy Little Mexican Restaurant
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Pepe's Mexican

    Very cosy, fairly small restaurant with great atmosphere & great service.

    Inside are group tables with bench seats. Outside smaller tables for couples, threesomes etc.

    They do dinner each day (I think - check before going on a Sunday) and lunch Wed-Fri.

    Favorite Dish: We have been happy with each type of dish we have ordered.

    My favourite thing to order is the Mexican Punch (non-alcoholic). Very tasty & goes a long way.

    Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant: Excellent Mexican
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant

    Lively restaurant popular with locals.

    Has both indoor & outdoor dining.

    Is next to a large road. I could not hear the traffic from inside, but am not sure about the noise level outside. I don't remember seeing the traffic from our table inside.

    Great friendly service.

    You have to order & get your own drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) from the bar.

    Favorite Dish: My favourite dish is the Seafood Enchilada dish. Comes with rice. Presented beautifully.

    Offers combination meals which is cheaper than buying one of each item. Eg (making this combo up!) 1 x Chicken Enchilada & 1 x Bean Burrito.

    Sizzlers: Great Fresh Buffet Restaurant
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Sizzlers

    Sizzlers is a 'no frills' family restaurant, most famous for its salad bar. Ideal for tourists on a budget. The salad bar includes soup, bolognaise and pasta, a wide variety of salads, vegetables and fruit, and a variety of desserts. There are special kids meals too. Sizzlers can get very busy, so be prepared for a queue. My girlfriends and I love going to Sizzlers, as everyone can find something to eat, no matter what their budget or appetite is that day.

    You can order the salad bar alone (A$16.95), salad bar with bottomless soft drinks/tea/coffee ($18.95), or salad bar with a main meal &/or entree.

    Main meal and salad bar prices are as follows:

    steak = 21.95 - 27.95
    seafood = 19.95 - 23.50
    chicken = 18.50 -20.95
    burgers = 19.25

    Favorite Dish: I really enjoy the seafood meals and entrees combined with the salad bar (with dessert) and bottomless soft drink.

    Caravanserai Restaurant: Fantastic Turkish!
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Caravanserai Restaurant

    Caravanserai is BYO, and has seating inside and out.

    There are banquets available for groups of 4 and over.

    Most main meals are A$19.80, and are a decent size. A wide variety of entrees is available. Hot drinks are A$3.00-4.00. There is a variety of desserts to tempt you, including desserts for a group to share.

    The only downsides seem to be that the toilets appear to only be accessible via a flight of stairs, and there is only 1 kids meal on the menu. If your child is not a super fussy eater I am sure they could find something on the main menu to suit their tastes.

    Favorite Dish: The entree breads are devine. We had the herb bread, and the garlic bread on our recent visit.

    The Chai Latte hot drink was delicious.
