Portugal

Old man in Marvao
My most recent travels were to beautiful Portugal. I'm not sure what I was expecting beforehand, but I was pleasantly suprised. It's a beautiful country with friendly people and beautifal towns and villages.

You're right about T.Cheques overseas. They're becoming a thing of the past. The posada breakfast sounds great. I'd definitely spring for the bacon and egg add-on. Having a good summer in Vermont? Regards from Florida.

Carolyn, I really appreciate your Portugal page. I found your Lisbon tips to be very helpful to me as I would like to visit someday soon. I've heard nice things about the bairro alto as well. Gr8 t'logues also!
