Sounds of this greeting reaches us not only from the expected places like hotels and taxis but from strangers in the street, schoolkids on line in front of us and fellow patrons at resturants

We were introduced to Cairo city traffic by our airport transfer and later by our friend Nini accompanied by her cousin & her sister who are Cairo residents. We visited the Virgin Mary Church in Zeitoun where the famous apparition of the Virgin Mary appeared for 2 years in 1968. After we visited another Coptic Church where another miracle happened , an open Bible was found floating in the Nile opened to the scripture that read Bless the people of Egypt. ( paraphrase)
