Chez Cora: One of the best ways to start a day
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Chez Cora

I love the varied menu at Chez Cora. You can have almost anything from eggs and bacon to crepes and fruit salad...or all of them together! And no matter what you choose, you'll be stuffed after!

Favorite Dish: I love everything here =)

    Queue de castor: Heavenly good!
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Queue de castor

This is important: you CAN NOT leave Montreal without tasting a beaver tale (queue de castor)! It's a flat, fried dough with a topping of your choice and it's just too good to be described. You can have a plain one with only sugar on the top or you can eat it with eg. chocolate or jam spreaded on it. It's worth gaining all those 2 million calories!

Favorite Dish: My absolute favorite topping's chocolate and banana

Piazzetta: Good italian food in a nice environment
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Piazzetta

We were looking for a place to grab a bite with my family and chose this restaurant because of the colorful outlook and the terrace. And our choice turned out to be a really good one! You can have typical italian dishes like pizza or pasta or something lighter like a sallad. Everything we ordered was good and the size of the plates is just right! I love the architecture on St-Denis street and since it was a warm and sunny day, the terrace was was a perfect spot to rest our feet!

Favorite Dish: My dad had these little rolls made of pizza dough and stuffed with goat cheese. They tasted amazing! There were also a few other stuffings to take.

Salut Lotta ! Very nice page of Montreal with great pictures (we're lucky to have so much light all year long). Take care ! Cheers from "La ville aux cent clochers" (nickname of Montreal because there is so much church in town)!

Nice Montreal pages! And I loved the signs from Japan - I remember learning to just ignore them. Birthday greetings from Alaska - The Big 21!!
