13.5 years of my precious life were dedicated to living in Mobile. The way I figure it, with being there so long, I don't ever need to go back. Well, it is just that I don't want to. Seeing as how I was born in the north (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) and moved there in the 1970's, it was an interesting scene for me to be in. The southern culture is just not my thing really. Racial division and personal attitudes are still where they were many years ago, though things are not entirely as bad as they used to be.
