Hostelling International - USA: For the budget travellers

There are a lot of places to stay at virtually anywhere you want to go in the country. If you want to do it cheap, then hostels are the way to go of course. There are many of them. I attached a website to this page that is part of the Hostelling International Group. They have hostels listed for half of the states in the U.S. Just click where you are going. If you are going to be doing extensive traveling, get a membership so that you will get discounted rates wherever you go.

The Holiday Inn Express: Holiday Inn (Light)

Same as you'd get from a Holiday Inn but less. Catered for more budget traveling where you just want to get in and out of the place you are staying at. Slightly less expensive than standard Holiday Inn prices.

Holiday Inn: Known the World Wide

Nothing spectacular here except standard accomidations. It's a very well known chain that you can never really miss with. If you are looking for something with a lot of personality and flair, I'd try something else. That goes for all the chains in the U.S. really.

Holiday Inn Select: Holiday Inn...King Sized :-P

A step above the standard Holiday Inn hotels, Select offers higher prices with nicer surroundings for business travel needs (which is what this particular chain caters to). Not exactly the same as the regular Holiday Inn.

Motel 6: Mid-range Accomidations

Nothing fancy here of course. Prices will vary a small amount depending on location, but won't really go over $60 a night and are around $40 a night usually. The rooms are basic with bed, tv, and shower.
