For most of my life Petra has held a high degree of fascination with me somehow. Even before Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade came out I was interested in visiting. And now I can say I have been. |
|  | Even for the archaelogically weary, Petra is a sight to behold. No other area comes close to the grandeur and magnificence of this place. It's size is massive and filled with many things to see. If you don't want to sell yourself short, plan for at least two full days of exploring the city. Making a day trip out of Petra will give you only enough time to scratch the surface of things to see and will have you running around like a maniac. |
