Lumpini Park: enjoying the birds and the trees

  • after going to the national musuem, we chanced upon the beautiful sight of the pigeons at the lumpini park...it reminded me of central park in new york...go here for a refreshing break after shopping...fresh and windy air, chirping pigeons, warm breeze..its right across the national musuem and Thammasat university

  • check out the Thammassat university after going to the national musuem...one of the top schools in bangkok..check out the young male grad students hehehe

    The Giant Swing: easy to miss giant swing

  • when we were going to the grand palace, our vehicle drove by the giant swing...most tourists would easily miss this historical landmark since not much to see...but this is consired an important landmark of thai people!

    Off The Beaten Path: stroll along Democracy Monument, United Nations

  • check out the democracy monument near parliament office...if you want to check out the political scene, walk around the nearby location, its the area of several government buildings, embassies and the United Nations regional headquarters. you can aslo go to the United Nations museum, open on weekdays 8:30-4:30pm. It houses several memorabilia of the member countries in South East Asia.
