I was able to read from the billboard at Papa Nards restaurant at Pagudpud town center where the name of the town came from. According to the story, An American father and son were out discovering the town, when they rode a boat, they saw seaweeds, and the son told the father, pa good food! i thought the story was funny...but is it really true? : )
