I don´t live in Bilbao, I live in Plentzia, a little town which is 25 kms from Bilbao, but I have studied there for 6 years and I have been working there for 6 months, so I now the city quite well.
It used to be a very industrial city, but at the end of 80´s all the ship companies closed and after a period of economical crisis it became a touristic city.
Nowadays all the economical activity rounds around museums, theatre...
Basque Country is famous for his good cooking culture and the ative nightlife. The pubs here open until morning on Fridays and Saturdays. |
