Kordofan is the heart of the Sudan.
It brings to mind Baobab trees, camels, nomadic tribes, the gum arabic producing acacias, groundnuts, kerkadeh and much more.
Travel is not easy as there are few tarmac roads, so a 4x4 is essential unless you have a camel !
