First Trip as a VT'er!

What a great site this has turned out to be. On a recent trip to BsAs I had the opportunity to meet some amazing people that will hopefully become lifelong friends. All because of VT.... so thanks to all of you out there for being part of this community of adventurers/travelers/nomads/wanderers of the world.

Purple Rain

My grandmother is quite possibly the greatest human being I know, and has become my closest friend. Last year I flew to Detroit and surprised her with tickets to see Prince in concert. She had always wanted to see a huge show like this and actually likes and knows Prince music! We both had so much fun. She was on her feet for the finale of Purple Rain and said she wished the show had lasted longer. At 85, her stamina, energy and complete open-mindedness is something to be admired. I love this woman.

Spain

Barcelona and Sevilla were home for a while, and I still miss living in Spain so much. The colors, the life, the vibrancy.... every day and every moment was meant to be cherished, and the Spanish people lived that belief to its fullest. These girls were dressed in their traditional best for La Feria in Sevilla, a week-long celebration of dance, friends, family... and of course, life. They clearly loved having their photo taken!

My Home, High Above Land

I actually have to JUMP now? What???

A recent transplant from California, I am lucky enough to currently live in one of the greatest cities in the world! Everything can be found here, everything is available - including a chance to learn the art of trapeze. Yes, SCARY! But so much fun. This made skydiving seem like nothing!

New York is a crazy place and cannot be described... so everyone, come visit!
