watch out for the potato men on the streets of benidorm, on the beach and at the market.
You donīt win anything from them and are liable to say a quick goodbye to 20 or 50 euros - whilst their colleagues pickpocket the other people watching the "game"

At Least Do This: stand back and watch someone being conned - but donīt step in - as you will most probably be threatened by a friend of the potato man acting as a look out.
Alternative: donīt hand your cash over to anyone on the street and make sure you know where your wallet is.
Donīt carry all of the money that you bring on you - leave some in the hotel safe.
leave some of your bank cards behind in the safe too - donīt carry all these with you (just in case)
