Me and my friend decided to go to Stonehenge.. I was in the south of England so there was no way I was coming back to Canada without seeing it.
So we traveled from Bournemouth to Salisbury by Wilt&Dorset bus.. it was only 6 GBP for the return trip. Not bad at all...
I was surprised to see a busy street running RIGHT next to the monument.. I figured it would be off in some secluded place. But nope.. busy street and Stonehenge live side by side. It was very beautiful and mysterious.. I did love it... although, I thought it would be bigger. Nonetheless, I am so glad I saw it.
There is a cafe just before going throught the entrance to Stonehenge.. they have scnones with jam and clotted cream.. get one.. so damn good :) |
