"Arlington, VA" Arlington by remarck

Arlington is the part of D.C. that D.C. gave back to Virginia in 1847. If you look at it on a map, you will notice Arlington would complete a "square" that was to have been the entire city of Washington, D.C.

But it was not to be.

It is a small, culturally rich county. Arlington contributes many more taxes to the state than it receives in services from the state, which burns our butts. It is very unfair.

• Pros:Right next to DC (contains many monuments!)
• Cons:Right next to DC
• In a nutshell:Arlington is a great tourist destination
