"Just Another "Brick" in the Seawall!" Bricktown by KiKitC

Bricktown Travel Guide: 6 reviews and 16 photos

Brick is a booming shore community. I work in a bank as a secretary here. Used to be...if I didn't have to go to Brick...even better.

Seems the town grew faster than it could handle. Traffic is terrible, primarily based on a poor traffic layout...hey...they didn't expect this many people to want to live here.

Ironically, when the explorers first found this area, it was reported back to the queen that this area was "uninhabitable" due to the vast amount of mosquitos and bugs. Now look at it...

One of the closest places to paddle for us is here. Whether we are paddling Forge Pond, the Upper Metedoconk River or the Lower Metedeconk River, we will have a pleasant time with many different paddle adventures.

What a great find...an authentic Mexican restaurant with delicious food. Another good introduction.
